**The Role**:
We’re currently hiring a dedicated** Plant Operator**to join our team at **Dandenong South, Victoria**. This is a **full-time, permanent opportunity**, perfect for someone who’s **hands-on and** ready to **grow** in the **waste management industry.**

You’ll be involved in **operating our Liquid Treatment Plant**, helping to ensure the **safe, efficient, and compliant handling** of liquid waste materials.

**What You Will Do**:

- Operate and monitor the performance of the **Liquid Treatment Plant** and **driving HR vehicles on site** from time to time.
- Carry out **sampling and basic testing** of liquid waste
- Operate equipment as instructed, ensuring waste meets **specifications** for disposal or recovery
- Work closely with Plant Team Leaders to manage **day-to-day waste processing activities**
- Maintain **clear and accurate records** of operational processes
- Ensure required **supplies and tools** are available to support plant operations
- Conduct **routine checks and minor maintenance** on equipment, reporting any issues
- Follow all **safety, quality, and environmental guidelines**

**What You’ll Bring to the Team**:

- A current **HR driver’s license** is essential
- **Previous experience as a plant operator**
- **Waste industry experience is a plus but not essential**
- **Willingness to work early morning shifts**
- Basic level of **literacy and numeracy**
- A strong commitment to **safe work practices**
- Ability to work effectively within a **team environment**
