**The Role & Project**

MACA Infrastructure are seeking a
**Plant Operator** to join our growing team working on a variety of projects across Victoria. The position will be responsible for achieving set targets in a safe and timely manner with the plant they have been assessed as competent in operating.

**Responsibilities will include**:

- Carry out pre-start checks to ensure the machine is safe to operate.
- Operate plant in an efficient and effective manner in order to achieve the shift production targets.
- Report any faults and defects of plant immediately to the Supervisor.
- Report all hazards, incidents, near misses and accidents immediately to the Supervisor.
- Carry out any other tasks as directed by the Supervisor.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
- Actively participate and contribute to the continuous improvement and innovation of MACA work practices.

**We are looking for**:

- 5+ years’ experience in operating equipment, such as Roller, Excavator and Skid Steer.
- Current driver’s license.
- Commitment to safety in the workplace.
- Construction white card.
- The ability to live away from home.
