**Position Overview**
- The successful applicant will be part of a multi-campus library program, delivering consistent, efficient, and effective library services across the three campuses. Working closely with the Campus Principals, the Business Manager, and other key stakeholders, the Librarian will ensure high-quality support for teaching, learning, and student engagement.

- Requires specialist professional knowledge, understanding, and expertise in library operations within an educational setting.
- Involves managing tasks, policies, standards, practices, and systems across multiple campus libraries.
- Requires experience in working collaboratively with Principal Class Officers and a multi-campus library team, monitoring workflows, and developing strategies to improve service delivery.
- Provides reasonable autonomy in determining operational work priorities and schedules, including the consistent delivery of library resources across the College.

- Working collaboratively with the Principal Class Officers, Business Manager, and College library team, the Librarian will:

- Deliver effective and efficient information services aligned with contemporary educational needs.
- Ensure appropriate resources are in place to support curriculum and extra-curricular programs.
- Evaluate library provision and recommend improvements to enhance flexibility and effectiveness in meeting student and staff needs.
- Lead the preparation and implementation of the Library Program budget in line with the College Strategic Plan, school policies, and priorities.
- Promote a cooperative, unified approach among campus library staff under the College vision of **¿One College, Three Sites, One Family¿**.
- Actively supervise students within the library to ensure a safe, inclusive, and engaging environment.
- Undertake other duties as directed by the College Principal or nominee.

- Copperfield College is a multi-campus school situated in Melbourne¿s North-West. The College is comprised of two junior campuses (Years 7-10) in Kings Park and Sydenham and a senior campus (Years 11-12) at Delahey. We have a student population of approximately 2,000, with 180 (EFT) teaching staff, 70 (EFT) Education Support Staff and 7 Principal Class personnel**.**The SFOE for the College is 0.58, indicating a significant level of social disadvantage.
