- Higher Education provider - ASAP start - University
- $40 per hour - Contract Role - potential permanent position

We are seeking a Librarian for an initial 3 month contract and then a permanent position in Melbourne CBD.

This position reports to the General Manager and is responsible for overseeing the day to day delivery of reference and customer services, operational management of the library team and administrative duties.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Delivering professional and effective library services
- Efficiently capturing all data accurately and in accordance with approved policies and procedures
- Participating in audits
- Acquiring resources for library collections

**REQUIREMENTS**:
You will have a degree in the relevant field and be eligible for Associate Membership of the Australian Library and Information Association and be enthusiastic about the implementation of innovative customer service practices in a dynamic and modern library environment.
