Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

- Conduct social needs assessments using appropriate tools, strategies, and processes to determine the support requirements of individuals.
- Establish and maintain effective communication with individuals with s disability and other stakeholders to ensure that their needs and preferences are understood and met.
- Provide consultative support to relevant stakeholders, utilising Social Work knowledge and skills.
- Utilise evidence-based assessment tools to assess the real needs and risks of individuals and their families.
- Collaborate with clients and other relevant stakeholders to develop individual goals and outcomes, using evidence-based interventions and strategies.

As a Therapist in this position, you will utilize your clinical and professional expertise to provide therapeutic interventions to clients and their families/carers, empowering them to achieve their goals and live successfully within their community according to their own measure of success. You will conduct social needs assessments of individuals and families, assisting and empowering them to develop and use the skills and resources needed to overcome social and other problems, and promote well-being while exercising human rights, social justice, and social development.

**What you'll need to succeed**
- Degree in Social Work recognised by the Australian Association of Social Workers
- Registration (or eligibility to register upon appointment) with the Australian Association of Social Workers

**Job Type**: Casual

**Salary**: From $66,217.52 per year

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Sydney NSW: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:

- High School (Year 9-11) (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Driver Licence (required)
