**The Service**

**KU Cheltenham Memorial Preschool, **located on Beecroft Road is set amongst a large established woodland garden. We aim to provide a happy, stimulating, caring and safe environment, where children feel a strong sense of belonging. We view each child as unique with an individual personality, learning style and family background.

**The Role**

KU Cheltenham Memorial Preschool have an exciting opportunity for a Certificate III qualified educator to join the team on a **part time, permanent basis **, this role will see you work **7.6 hours on Thursday and Friday **. You will also have access to additional hours on non rostered days if desired through our KUCas booking system.

We are looking for an educator who has an interest in nature play and can engage in a wide variety of learning experiences and activities, designed to promote children’s confidence as capable, active participants in their own learning.

We want you to be as passionate about early childhood education and as committed to achieving positive outcomes as we are.

**To be considered for this role, it is essential you have**:

- a recognised Certificate III in Children's Services qualification or similar as approved by Australian Children’s Education and Quality Authority (ACECQA)
- current NSW Working with Children Check
- work rights to enable you to work in Australia
- sound understanding of the NQF, EYLF, Education and Care Services National Law (2010) and the Education and Care Services National Regulations (2011)
- professional level of written and verbal communication skills
- current knowledge of Child Protection legislation and its implications for the care and protection of children
- demonstrated computer literacy skills
