**About the Role**
The primary role of the Scheduler is to be responsible for the coordination of staff resources, so that we are most effectively utilising our staff to deliver services to our clients. The role is accountable for building regular, ongoing staff rosters and also for putting out the day-to-day spot fires caused by unplanned absences or cancellations. The role works closely with both our staff and our clients, maintaining a customer service approach and seeking to keep all involved as well-informed as possible.
**Key focuses for the role include**:

- Ensuring rosters are regularly reviewed to meet key service indicators
- Minimising travel time to increase the optimisation of direct client time
- Attending to day-to-day rescheduling and covering of unplanned absences
- Ensuring the appropriate compatibility of staff with clients

**This role is being hired on a permanent full time basis. The role is located at our central offices in Belmont.**

**Skills & Experience**
**Key desirables include the below**:

- Previous experience working within scheduling or rostering for a complex service delivery business, ideally within healthcare, is highly desirable but not essential.
- An understanding of rostering principles is desirable, but not essential.
- A high level of competency using computer systems and software.
- Ability to manage competing deadlines and priorities.
