As a Keepsake Specialist you will care for deceased pets, creating personalised paw prints and keepsakes, ensuring the respectful return of ashes with empathy and professionalism.

This is a Casual position.

Duties of a Keepsake Preparation Coordinator:

- Preparation of pet’s ashes into urns, boxes and jewellery and finalise preparation of keepsakes to be returned to clients.
- Taking clay, ink and digital paw prints ensuring quality - includes trimming fur and claws
- Preparing pets for final goodbye viewings and cremation viewings, includes washing and drying pets if needed
- Management of pets in cool room and maintaining cleanliness of facility
- Assisting with warehouse duties, includes unpacking stock and accepting in deliveries

**About you**:

- Compassion for animals and emotional intelligence
- An ability to handle deceased pets in a professional and ethical manner
- Capable to lift pets of all sizes using safe lifting procedures. Requires ability to lift up to 25kg
- Able to work at a standing desk doing repetitive tasks with consistent quality and attention to detail
- Good eye hand coordination for preparation of small jewellery items
- A naturally organised person who thrives in a clean and tidy environment
- Ability to work in an ever changing environment and balance demands on your time
- Proven computer and administrative skills
