Forming part of the wider InvoCare brand, Pets in Peace is a leading provider of pet aftercare services in Australia with a national footprint. Through our dedicated and caring team, we offer dignified farewells for much loved family pets.
**About the role**
You will be provided with four weeks of training at our Loganholme office and you may be required to work from our Ipswich office from time to time. You are required to be available on weekends to support the team and cover leave and absences when needed.
**Your responsibilities**
- Coordinate and schedule pet aftercare bookings with both the public and vet clinics
- Assist clients who bring pets to our premises
- Prepare our viewing facilities for client visits
- Work closely with our Preparation, Crematorium and Area Manager teams to ensure we deliver on our promises, every time, every day
- Carry out accurate data entry and payment processing tasks
- Undertake general office administration duties as needed
**To be successful in this role you will**
- Have a high standard of personal presentation
- Have excellent communication skills and be able to support our clients over the phone with an empathetic, caring and professional phone manner
- Have exceptional attention to detail and a high standard of writing skills
- Be a supportive and positive team member with a "can do" attitude
- Be reliable, organised and flexible to meet the changing needs of the business
- Have intermediate computer skills (Microsoft Office experience is essential)
- Have the desire and ability to learn new skills and absorb knowledge quickly
- Be physically fit as this role will require handling pets from time to time
- Be fully COVID vaccinated
