Located on the beach in Port Melbourne within the Life Saving Victoria State Centre, The Views is seeking the services of a passionate Front of House supervisor to provide quality service to our growing functions business.

**Who are we?**

The Views is Port Melbourne’s only beachfront conference venue and is located only minutes from the CBD.

We are a division of Life Saving Victoria. Life Saving Victoria is Victoria's peak water safety and lifesaving organisation and is committed to its mission to prevent aquatic related death and injury across all Victorian communities. LSV is a recognised agency of Emergency Management Victoria and provides emergency response services across the state through its vast network of lifesaving clubs, lifeguards, marine and aerial rescue services. LSV is a Registered Training Organisation and a charity registered with the Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission.

**How will this position contribute to Life Saving Victoria’s mission?**

Revenue from The Views is used to support the community activities and for purpose work of the broader Life Saving Victoria organisation.

The venue also hosts Life Saving Victoria training programs, events and volunteer programs, community events, emergency service sectors and like-minded agencies.

This is an opportunity for the right person to bring their enthusiasm and creativity into a growing functions business The Views. The role is principally focused on the delivering quality front of house services to our corporate, event and private function clients.

**Who are you?**

We are seeking the services a reliable and talented Front of House supervisor, with a can-do attitude, to supervise and service the business, ensuring that efficient and smooth front of house operations for events. You will have the opportunity to run events, whilst working in a supportive, fun team.

This role will suit a self-starter, who enjoys multi-tasking, has a passion for great service, enjoys interacting with a diverse client base, creating a friendly and professional environment. You won't mind pulling up your sleeves and assisting in the kitchen and undertaking the administration as required.

Applicants should have a minimum of 2 years' front of house experience and previous experience supervising and/or team leading preferred.

Events at our venues are varied and held during the day as well as night, on weekdays and weekends. We are looking for staff who are flexible about their availability as hours will vary pending function bookings.

We seek individuals with great work ethic, enthusiasm and great customer service. Willingness to be adaptable and roll your sleeves up to get the job done, support including kitchen, bar, setup/pack up.

All positions within Life Saving Victoria must have an employee working with children check or have the ability to obtain one.
