As an Architectural Designer at Texco Design, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the residential landscapes of our clients. Your responsibilities will include:
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage with clients and management to determine the style, scope, and dimensions of new residential projects or alterations to existing homes, townhouses, and apartments.
- Provide comprehensive and creative design solutions, including material recommendations and accurate project timelines and cost estimates to clients.
- Create detailed project documentation, including initial sketches, scale drawings, and the integration of structural, mechanical, and aesthetic elements into cohesive designs.
- Write detailed project specifications and contract documents for builders, and oversee the tender process to ensure competitive and fair selection.
- Work closely with registered architects, contractors, engineers, and other professionals to ensure all aspects of the project are coordinated and feasible.
- Conduct thorough analysis of site and community data, including geographical features, landforms, soils, vegetation, hydrology, and existing structures, to inform design decisions and recommendations.
- Prepare environmental impact assessments as needed and incorporate sustainable design principles into all projects to promote eco-friendly development.
- Produce detailed reports, site plans, working drawings, specifications, and cost estimates for residential developments, accurately depicting ground modeling, structures, vegetation, and access points.
- Regularly inspect construction sites to ensure that work adheres to design plans, specifications, and quality standards, addressing any issues that arise promptly and effectively.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A degree in Architecture or a related field.
- A minimum of three years of experience in architectural design, preferably in residential projects.
- Proficiency in CAD software and other architectural design tools.
- Exceptional creativity and a keen eye for detail.
- Strong project management and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- A thorough understanding of building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
Pay: $71,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
