A part-time home based HR Office required for 20 hours per week.
A resources-based organisation in West Perth is looking for a hands-on HR Officer to support their HR team. This is an ongoing contract role on a temporary basis, working 20-25 hours per week. Immediate start.

Your new role
- HR data entry for new hires, change of conditions and terminations.
- Prepare and send employee letters (change of conditions, offers, terminations etc.)
- Organise payment with payroll provider and sending of general correspondence.
- Organise and maintain employee files.
- Perform monthly and out of cycle payroll processes and provision of year-end payment summaries to all staff.
- Manage long service leave payments/refunds
- Provide HR information for internal reports (Finance/Governance/Corporate HR teams/Health & Safety), audits, and legal entities.
- Support leaders on workplace relations matters and employees’ claims
- Support worker compensation claims.
- Employee inductions
- Managing employees’ benefits including data updating and point of contact for employees’ queries.

What you'll need to succeed
- Transactional human resources experience
- Prior payroll knowledge
- Strong attention to detail
- Flexible to work additional hours when required
- Office environment for homework
