- Pay: $35-40 per hour depending on experience

A loving professional family in Balmain East are seeking a calm, caring and responsible nanny to assist care of their newborn baby boy (Currently 8 weeks old).

**The days and normal hours are:

- 3 days - 18 hours per week**

Monday 9am - 2pm

Wednesday 9am - 2pm

Friday 9am - 5pm

An ideal nanny would be experienced, warm, calm, nurturing and loving. A nanny that is friendly and is happy, playful and interested to actively engage with the baby which will help the baby’s growth and development.

The family is looking for someone who is honest, safe and responsible and is able to care for the baby throughout the day whilst the parents are working from home or attending to appointments or chores.

Prior experience/professional qualifications working with young/new born babies is highly important for this role.

The family do have a (Wheaten Terrier) Ziggy. Self-sufficient during the day, just needs letting out. If the nanny is happy to walk him sometimes that would be a bonus.

**The carer’s responsibilities for this role will be as follows -**
- To care for the baby
- Follow the baby’s routine
- Play and engage age appropriate activities to assist in the baby’s development.
- Take the baby out for walks
- Assist with laundry (occasionally)
- Run errands (occasionally)

**The family’s expectations from their nanny are -**
- 5+ years experience as a nanny or working in child care
- Childcare qualification preferred
- Young baby experience (Below 3 months of age)
- Have a current first aid certificate (or happy to obtain one)
- Have a current Working with Childrens Check
- Display strong communication skills and speak English.
- Non smoker/vaper
- Up to date with all vaccinations
- Full Drivers Licence and own car (preferred)
