We are seeking a nurturing and caring nanny to assist a professional family in Balmain East. The nanny will be responsible for caring for a happy 3 year old girl.

**The days and normal hours over -2 days - 18 hours per week (Some flexibility)**

Preferred days/hours (Some flexibility)

Monday 7.30am - 4.30pm

Tuesday 7.30am - 4.30pm

An ideal nanny will be caring, gentle and nurturing with a friendly/happy personality.

A nanny that has a genuine love of children and can dedicate their time to the child and enhance her learning and development on a daily basis. Be able to follow the child’s routine and generally be that great big fun sister a little girl needs.

The family is looking for a nanny who adapts well, can be a strong communicator and get along with the parents, is responsible ,safe, reliable, punctual and can commit to the role on a long term basis, building a lovely relationship with the whole family.

Must have experience with toddlers/preschoolers.

**The carer’s responsibilities for this role will be as follows -**
- Care for the child
- Provide routine and structure
- Provide age appropriate activities (plan, engage, play)
- Take the child out for walks/park/playground etc and to activities like Gymbaroo, swimming and adhoc playdates.
- Settle for afternoon nap when needed
- Meal prep and simple cooking for the child
- Reading with the child (Reading eggs)
- Run errands (occasionally)
- Assist with light household duties -Clearing surfaces and cleaning up after meals, tidying up toys after playing.

**The family’s expectations from their nanny are -**
- 3 years + experience as a nanny or working in child care
- Child care qualification (preferred)
- Have a current first aid certificate
- Have a current working with children’s check number
- Toddler/Preschooler experience
- Display strong communication skills and speak English
- To be fit, healthy and active
- Non smoking
- Basic cooking skills
- Full Drivers licence and own car(Petrol and kms to be reimbursed)
