Support a connected and high performing People (HR) team to create memorable and engaging employee experiences for some of Australia’s most loved retail brands.

The role

Reporting to the Head of People Experience, the People Experience Advisor will be a crucial component in creating memorable and engaging employee experiences for all teams across the Country Road Group. Alongside the People business partner teams, you will collaborate across the business and support development of people initiatives, particularly on-boarding and capability development in retail to realise the potential of our people. This will be achieved through engagement, on-boarding and capability initiatives, programs and activities aligned to business strategy and people priorities.

Based in Melbourne with a hybrid mix of time in the office and from home, this role will suit an emerging HR professional who is passionate about the experience people have in the workplace.

Key responsibilities include
- Support with design, coordination and delivery of initiatives in line with our cultural roadmap and people strategy
- With the learning designer and in cooperation with the retail team, manage, co-design and roll-out/implement the retail on-boarding program
- Work with SMEs on structure, content and media needed for onboarding program
- Incorporate cultural ambitions in all project, particularly on-boarding and retail excellence
- Support People projects and cyclical activity (e.g. learning programs, engagement and listening interventions, annual performance management cycle) to create connections to cultural aspirations
- A customer focused approach with experience in retail leadership ideal
- An ability to influence via strong relationships across a wide range of stakeholders
- Exposure to delivering/developing training programs throughout your career
- Ability to think creatively around bring people experiences to life
- Potential to navigate complexity while delivering outcomes at pace
- Agile mindset with adaptable communication skills
- Degree qualification within business/HR with a passion for fast paced consumer environments are advantageous
