With no outside capital, Marbruck actively manages a diverse global portfolio of over 45 companies predominantly at the Series A level. We leverage our intellectual capital, extensive network of partner investors, and in-depth operational experience to successfully navigate the high-risk, high-reward spectrum of investing. **About the role** **Responsibilities** < Deal Flow: Collaborate with us to identify and understand promising businesses, and assist throughout the investment process (including screening, financial and operational due diligence, and closing). < Analysis: Monitor and enhance our understanding of the performance and prospects of our existing portfolio companies to facilitate informed follow-on investment decisions. < Reporting: Implement consistent reporting frameworks across the portfolio. < Benchmarking: Conduct analysis on valuations, metrics, trends, and benchmarking across various technology sectors. < Administration: Document our business processes and thought processes. **About you** < 1-2 years of experience as an analyst (or equivalent) in advisory (management consulting / investment banking), investment (private equity / venture capital / investment management), or as an operator in a start-up, with a focus on internet / software / new technology. < Strong understanding of investment analysis and a keen interest in financial markets. < Passion for start-ups and technology. < Entrepreneurial, self-directed, and adaptable. You must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with changing and concurrent priorities across a wide range of projects. You should be able to thrive in a small team without micromanagement. < A systems thinker who enjoys organizing chaos and implementing frameworks and systems to improve investment decision-making. Possess a growth mindset and a commitment to continuous improvement. < We operate in the same office as our parent company.
