We now have an exciting opportunity for a full time Compliance Officer to join the Compliance Team on a 12-month contract.

As Compliance Officer you will be responsible for providing the highest standard of assistance and administrative support with compliance and legal management systems, with a focus on the AML/CTF transaction monitoring, to ensure effective and efficient operation of the organisation.

This role can be based at the Townsville Head Office and Brisbane Admin Office.

About You
- A sound knowledge and understanding of legal terminology applicable to financial services.
- Ability to gain an understanding of how to interpret legal provisions and documentation
- Ability to research information for the purposes of investigating cases including accessing information on government registers (including ATO, ASIC, ORIC)
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to analyse data
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Financial industry experience (desirable)
- Relevant university degree (desirable)
