About the Role
We're looking for a proactive Compliance Officer to strengthen Redland's governance and compliance practices across our national operations. Reporting to the Group Legal, Risk & Compliance Manager, you'll take the lead on compliance frameworks, certification programs, and sustainability reporting while supporting senior leaders with practical advice. The role is based at our Brisbane Head Office with travel to regional sites.
Role Responsibilities
- Develop and implement Redland's risk management and compliance frameworks.
- Coordinate the Audit & Risk Committee, preparing reports for the Board in collaboration with Group Heads.

- Manage the Group's insurance program, including valuations and renewals.
- Partner with the Safety team on incident investigations, providing recommendations to strengthen compliance and operational safety.
- Lead sustainability and ESG reporting, including Modern Slavery, emissions and gender reporting.
- Monitor regulatory updates, delivering timely advice, training and policies to staff.
Skills and Experience
- Tertiary qualification in Compliance, Law, Risk Management or related discipline (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience in compliance, governance or audit, ideally within agriculture, FMCG or a similar industry.
- Knowledge of certification and assurance programs (GLOBAL G.A.P., HARPS, Freshcare, SEDEX).
- Experience in sustainability reporting and ESG initiatives highly regarded.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and ability to build and implement compliance frameworks.
- Excellent organisational, communication and problem-solving skills, with high attention to detail.
- Open driver's licence and capacity to travel to regional sites (up to 10 trips per year).
