**About the role**
We are seeking an enthusiastic Store Person who is looking for Full Time employment to join an expanding team at one of our prestigious Virgin Australia Sites in Melbourne.
This is a rare opportunity to join and represent an iconic international brand. Our mission is to deliver a high-quality food and beverage experience for Virgin Australia, whilst engaging with their most highly valued lounge guests and stakeholders.
The Stores Person roster can start as early as 4:00am Monday to Friday, with shifts ending between 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm and is rostered over all 5 days.
The role is mostly autonomous with only one full time Stores Person. This is a very physical role with frequent lifting of heavy items, that require transporting and organising, as well as maintaining the cleanliness of the BOH storage areas and equipment however, there are several times throughout each week, where a short, secondary stores shift is rostered.
This role often requires standing or walking for extended periods of time along with regular bending, reaching, and lifting.
Frequent communication with suppliers, and with the wider team on site, as well as food safety monitoring and recording is essential.
Your own transport is a must.
**About You**
With previous experience in a Stores Person role, you have the proven physical ability to manually and repetitively lift large quantities of stock.
You are a positive minded individual who takes pride in your appearance and presents well. Being socially confident you are comfortable engaging with all stakeholders involved in the stock management process. Self-motivated, with a good knowledge of OH&S and food hygiene with an eye for detail. You have a professional attitude at work, with the ability to multi-task and work as part of a team.
