The Opportunity

Lindfield Gardens Retirement Living is nestled amongst serene bushland in East Lindfield, overlooking the sparkling upper reaches of Middle Harbour. Just 16km from Sydney’s CBD, conveniently located close by are Garigal National Park. On a daily basis, you'll spend your time outdoors and around the village attending to light repairs, maintenance or groundskeeping tasks. You'll connect with residents and work with a great team of staff to ensure our buildings, common areas and units are maintained.

This is a part-time opportunity working Wednesday to Friday 8.00am-4.00pm

You will

• You will attend to various maintenance requests around the village (basic domestic repair tasks)
• Carry out preventative maintenance tasks (e.g pool checks, high-pressure cleaning, smoke alarm checks and bins etc.)
• Liaise with your fellow maintenance team to ensure projects undertaken are completed to a high standard
• Use our system app to log, track and record the progress of jobs completed 
• Help out around the village with additional tasks
• Be a friendly face to the residents and work alongside a fantastic team
• Please note - this is not a gardening role. We've got that covered

What you will bring

• A genuine interest in learning new skills, being outdoors and hands-on who will enjoy chatting with residents
• Skilled or experienced in domestic repair or handyperson tasks (e.g carpentry, gardening, painting) (highly desired)
• Driver's license (required)
• Two (2) COVID-19 Vaccinations (required)
• Current Police Check certificate (required, but if you do not have one, we can complete for you)
