Senior Child and Adolescent Mental Health Specialist

This is a recruitment pool for permanent full-time, part-time and sessional appointments with the possibility of permanency and/or extension(s).
The ideal candidate will be registered, or eligible for specialist registration, with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA). Fellowship (or pending Fellowship) with the Royal Australian New Zealand College of Psychiatrists or equivalent as an overseas-trained specialist who has completed their training in either the UK, Ireland, Canada, USA (ABPN certified) or New Zealand with 3 years Consultant/Specialist level work experience.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide high-quality clinical management and treatment to patients of the service.
- Uphold and elevate professional standards while fostering an academic environment that supports education, research, and professional development.
- Actively contribute to teaching, research, and quality improvement initiatives.
The successful applicant will have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Strong analytical skills are also essential in this role.
