Child and Adolescent Mental Health Specialist

Mental Health Professionals are required for a Fixed Term - Full Time, Permanent - Full Time and Part Time position in the Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service Team.
Job DescriptionWe are seeking experienced professionals to join our team as an Allied Health Assistant. The successful candidates will be responsible for assisting with planning and implementing group and individual Allied Health programs at the Child and Adolescent Mental Health Inpatient Unit under the direction and supervision of the Senior Occupational Therapist or their delegate.
Key Responsibilities- Assist with planning and implementing group and individual Allied Health programs
- Work under the direction and supervision of the Senior Occupational Therapist or their delegate
The successful candidates must have:
- A current resume and cover letter which summarises experience, qualifications and how they can meet the position requirements
- Completion of an approved Allied Health Assistant Training Program (or equivalent) or minimum first year completed of an Allied Health Degree (Masters or Bachelor's)
- Up to three pages addressing the Essential Selection Criteria 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 and 7
- Name, email, and contact details of two referees who can be contacted to provide a reference
This is a recovery-focused patient and family-centered service that offers a seven-day multidisciplinary program in a safe environment for voluntary and involuntary patients as authorised under the Mental Health Act (2014).
The unit offers short-term assessment, brief intervention, and therapeutic group programs depending on the needs of the patient.
