Chief Operating Officer Opportunity

This is a unique and exciting opportunity to join a privately owned company with a long history of success in supplying automated packaging equipment to the food processing sector in Australia and overseas.

The role will be based at our operation in the Shepparton area of the Goulburn Valley, where we have a modern manufacturing workshop, warehousing facilities, testing and research capabilities, and custom design ability.

We supply a wide range of equipment, including grading and handling machinery, orchard equipment, and palletising systems, as well as consumable products to the market.

Our company has developed an export market, with a strong emphasis on the US, and sees this potential marketplace as outstanding.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage, motivate and develop a team to achieve quality growth and develop existing business
  • Guide and assist in new business opportunities
  • Have knowledge and expertise in manufacturing engineering and a working knowledge of manufacturing workshop applications, quality specifications and food industry requirements
  • Focus and mentor the whole team on achieving targets, whether they be sales, design, logistics, production or customer service delivery
  • Have the ability to think outside the square and look at the big picture
  • Possess a hands-on mentality and partake in all aspects of the business with drive and enthusiasm
