About the RoleAs an Incident Response Lead, you will play a vital role in safeguarding essential technology services, managing responses to high-priority incidents and optimising service continuity.
You will leverage tools like ServiceNow and Power BI to improve service performance, strengthen disaster recovery and continuity capabilities, and drive change in our resilience framework.
This is a high-visibility position where you will collaborate across teams and make a tangible impact on the reliability of systems powering Australia's energy future.
- Lead recovery activities during disasters and critical incidents, ensuring timely restoration of critical services.
- Drive post-incident problem management to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
- Develop and execute disaster recovery plans, validating service continuity through regular scenario exercises.
- Support the development, governance, and continuous improvement of disaster recovery and technology continuity policies and practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, providing incident management expertise to align operational practices with cyber risk objectives.
- Contribute to broader Cyber Risk, Resilience & Assurance initiatives to strengthen organisational resilience and cyber maturity.
- Extensive experience in Incident, Problem, and Service Continuity Management (ITSCM), with at least 5 years in Incident Management and IT Service Management.
- Proven ability to coordinate technical and business resources to resolve complex issues efficiently.
- ITIL V3/4 Foundations certification or equivalent practical ITSCM experience; strong familiarity with IT Service Management tools.
- Demonstrated ability to lead under pressure, prioritise conflicting demands, and work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Strong analytical, verbal, and written communication skills, with the ability to influence and build effective relationships at all levels.
