About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Hospitality Manager to join our team at Crafted Culture, a social enterprise cafe and catering business in Richmond. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting women and elevating their voices to create change.

The successful candidate will have experience in hospitality management, including supervising staff, managing inventory, and maintaining high service standards. They will also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with people from diverse backgrounds.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage cafe and catering operations, ensuring high service standards and product quality
  • Supervise staff, providing training and guidance to maintain operational and customer service standards
  • Oversee financials, including profitability, loss prevention, and reporting
  • Collaborate with marketing to promote the business and attract customers
  • Maintain cleanliness and adhere to health and safety regulations

Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge of the experiences of migrant, refugee, and asylum-seeking women in Australia
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate and work with people from CALD backgrounds
  • Forward thinking and organized, with good business acumen
  • Leadership quality and experience in team management
  • 2-3 years of experience in the hospitality industry, with desirable qualifications and certifications
