What The Role Is All About

Working closely with the Content & Growth and Audience & Marketing teams, the Social Media Marketing Manager will deliver engaging always-on and campaign based social activity, including briefing and developing bespoke social content, reporting on key performance metrics and recommending optimisations, and staying updated on industry trends.

The responsibilities of the role include:
- Monitor and analyse social media metrics and trends to track performance, generate insights, and provide actionable recommendations for continuous improvement.- Support the Social Media Assistant to review and moderate all comments, messages, and inquiries in a timely manner.- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, content, design, and customer operations, to ensure cohesive messaging and execution.- Deliver monthly reporting of social media activity to key stakeholders.- Management of two team members.

Who We’re Looking For- 7+ years’ marketing experience, specialising in social media across various channels.- Experience working with in-house and external agencies to deliver on innovative social content.- Demonstrated ability to use data and insights to inform channel and creative strategy.- Strong resource (internal staff/external partners/agencies) management experience.- Excellent oral and written communication skills.- Strong project management skills and ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously.- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Marketing, Advertising or similar.- Highly proficient across all prominent Social Media platforms.- Experience with marketing technology preferrable, such as Adobe and GA.
