We are seeking a highly skilled Digital Media Director to join our team in our Sydney office. This is an excellent opportunity for a talented individual to build upon their career in digital media and take on new challenges.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading senior client partnerships, managing projects, and overseeing daily operations. They will also develop social, content, and influencer strategies, manage creative content calendars, and analyze performance reports.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Senior client partnership and liaison
  • Independent management of projects to the highest degree of performance and operational excellence
  • Daily operational management: project management, timeline delivery, scoping, forecasting, capacity planning, invoicing, resource management, financial reporting
  • Lead in developing social, content and influencer strategies / campaigns
  • Senior oversight of community management (across all social platforms)
  • Oversee creative content calendars, across all social media channels
  • Analysis of social media performance and listening reports
  • Social crisis and issues oversight: rapid response, drive protocol
  • Partnership with PR, Strategy, Creative and Experiential teams to deliver integrated communications
  • Team leadership: focused on mentoring and development, training, effective line-management
Requirements:
  • Min 7-8+ years client service / agency experience in a social, media or digital team
  • Trusted senior client partner, account management
  • Strong communicator / gravitas
  • Proven operational excellence, detailed orientated
  • A natural mentor and team leader, with an inspirational style
  • Obsessed with what's new and topical in social
  • Fluency in a wide range of social platforms
  • Has an eye for what drives conversation
  • Understanding of social media engagement and monitoring tools such as Social Studio, HootSuite, Brandwatch, Iconosquare, iSentia and Upfluence
  • Positive attitude with a hunger to learn, eager to be part of the team
  • Solutions-focused in managing challenges, with a cool and calm demeanor

Salary Estimate: AU$120,000 - AU$150,000 per annum
