Job Description

We are seeking a results-driven sales professional to join our team and deliver exceptional customer service in the Newcastle region.

As a successful candidate, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building strong relationships with customers, and driving growth through strategic sales initiatives.

The ideal candidate will have a sound understanding of retail and commercial segments, as well as a general knowledge of the building industry. You will be proactive, enthusiastic, and diligent in meeting customer needs.

This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with a leading national supplier in the Australian building products market. The successful applicant will be based at our Newcastle office, with travel required to customers within the region as needed.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure safety, health, and environment standards are maintained.
  • Develop strategic sales initiatives to drive sales volume growth.
  • Meet prospecting metrics and record activity in Salesforce.
  • Prepare monthly sales forecasts and reports.
  • Analyse sales and profitability of new and existing markets and segments.
  • Maintain and grow relationships with customers across multiple channels.

  • Willingness to travel overnight occasionally.
