Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of nursing staff to deliver exceptional dementia care and support.
  • Ensure clinical compliance, accreditation, and care quality through regular audits and assessments.
  • Oversee the incident management process, including SIRS reporting and thorough investigations.
  • Coordinate AN-ACC assessments and develop individualised care plans that meet the unique needs of each resident.
  • Support budget management and drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the overall quality of care.
  • Contribute to the broader Clinical Governance Leadership Team, ensuring that best practices are implemented across all facilities.

Mandatory Qualifications:

  • Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in aged care, including dementia care, with a strong understanding of Aged Care Standards and best practice dementia care.

Desirable Skills and Experience:

  • Proven leadership skills in supervising, coaching, and mentoring a team of nurses.
  • Comprehensive experience in clinical care coordination and care planning, with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
  • Advanced communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with residents, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Familiarity with clinical systems and capacity to participate in an on-call roster, if required.
