Construction Contract Manager

Job Overview
This role involves reviewing and drafting contracts, as well as negotiating with clients and subcontractors. The successful candidate will ensure full compliance with contractual terms and conditions.
Review and negotiate contracts to safeguard project profitability.Manage contract documents and related correspondence.Identify and prepare claims, variations, and extension-of-time requests.Negotiate claim and variation settlements with clients and subcontractors.Evaluate contractual risks and recommend mitigation strategies.Advise project teams on contractual rights, duties, and liabilities.Liaise with stakeholders on contract matters.Support project managers in resolving commercial and contractual issues.Prepare periodic contract management reports for review.Maintain accurate records of contracts, amendments, claims, and disputes.Requirements
- Degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Law, or related field.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in contract management in road construction, civil works, and/or infrastructure projects.
- Proven experience in claims preparation, dispute resolution, and cost control.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
- Proficient in MS Office, contract management software, and project documentation tools.
