Senior Contract Advisor

This is an exciting opportunity to leverage your expertise in contract management and join our organization as a Senior Contract Advisor. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring the success of our business units by providing strategic guidance on sourcing activities and managing contracts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop strategy for relevant sourcing activities.
  • Create scope of work documents for contracts and coordinate their development.
  • Establish evaluation scorecards and participate in technical evaluations of tenders when required.
  • Manage the contract register to ensure timely execution of projects and replacement of expiring contracts.
  • Build and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders by serving as the primary point of contact for end-user queries.
  • Review escalations, invoice price adherence, and budget compliance to ensure proper review.
  • Provide guidance on pricing escalations and adjustments.
Requirements:
  • Possess a tertiary qualification in commercial, legal, or engineering-related discipline.
  • Hold several years of experience in a similar role in contract management, supply chain, or commercial teams.
  • Having worked in an underground metals environment would be advantageous.
  • Experience in drafting and/or managing contracts, major equipment contracts, site services, and support contracts would be beneficial.
  • Extensive experience using computerized ERP systems, particularly SAP and/or Coupa, would be highly regarded.
  • Be able to work effectively with and coordinate remote team members across different time zones.
