About the Role

We are seeking a Territory Sales Manager to join our team in servicing a diverse territory. The successful candidate will work closely with rural retailers, farmers, and industry groups to build strong relationships and drive sales growth.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Maximising sales revenue, margin, and volume of Waratah's rural products through extensive contact with end-users, distributor clients, and key influencers
  • Developing sales plans required to achieve sales targets and monitor market trends
  • Achieving sales targets and influencing large contractors, end-users, and other key stakeholders by articulating product benefits and providing training

The ideal candidate will have a robust understanding of the Australian agricultural industry and proven sales experience, including:

  • Strong stakeholder engagement and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to deliver effective presentations to individuals and groups
  • Positive attitude and drive to succeed
  • Passion for farming and generating new business opportunities
  • Willingness to travel and be away from home regularly

We offer a dynamic environment built on three pillars that define our commitment to both our team and industry:

  • Work with a greater purpose: Join us in the pursuit of a sustainable future and contribute to a legacy that helps build our nation while sustaining our environment for future generations.
  • Work well - live better: We understand the importance of balancing personal and professional life, valuing you as a whole person where family extends to the workplace and your well-being matters.
  • Build your own future: Step into a culture where every day is an opportunity to grow, and driving your own development is expected.

We invite you to forge your career in a workplace where passion meets purpose, wellbeing is nurtured, and the opportunity to thrive is in your hands.

This role offers the chance to make a real impact on the agricultural industry, working closely with key stakeholders to drive growth and success. As a Territory Sales Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies to meet or exceed targets, while also building strong relationships with customers and partners.

You will have a strong understanding of the Australian agricultural industry, with a proven track record of sales experience and a passion for farming and generating new business opportunities. You will be a strong communicator, able to articulate complex ideas simply and effectively, and have a positive attitude and drive to succeed.

We are looking for someone who is willing to travel and be away from home regularly, but who also values work-life balance and has a strong sense of community. If you are a motivated and results-driven individual who is passionate about the agricultural industry, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
