**Student Wellbeing and Engagement Specialist**

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate professional to support the wellbeing, resilience, and engagement of students in a school environment.

The role is located at Kilcoy State High School, working part-time with 8 days per fortnight and hours from 7:54 AM to 4:00 PM.

**Role Overview**: As a key member of our team, you will work directly with students to support their overall development through evidence-based programs and one-on-one interactions.

Your primary responsibilities include:

  • Delivering and supporting student wellbeing and personal development initiatives aligned to school and departmental frameworks
  • Providing mentoring and individual check-ins with students, including strengths and needs assessments
  • Collaborating with school staff, youth workers, and community services to build a comprehensive support network
  • Collecting data and feedback to help review and improve programs
  • Contributing to program planning, capacity-building for facilitators, and reporting on student engagement

**Essential Skills and Qualifications**: We are looking for an individual with experience working with young people in education, youth work, or community services. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and deliver support with professionalism and empathy.
