The Training Coordinator plays a pivotal role in delivering high-quality training and assessment to youth detention staff. This position contributes significantly to the strategic and operational objectives of the youth detention centres and the department's learning and development agenda.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage the delivery and coordination of complex curricula for youth detention training, ensuring achievement of workforce and business objectives.
- Assess training needs for new and existing staff, design training plans, and schedules to meet individual, workforce, and business objectives.
- Develop, implement, and monitor projects and activities that contribute to quality training outcomes and a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
- Track and report on training outcomes, manage training records, including data and analytics.
- Coordinate logistics for training activities, including rostering facilitators, venues, equipment, and other resources.
- Work closely with trainers and facilitators to support quality training delivery, supervise, mentor, and coach staff as required.
- Bld positive relationships with youth detention centres, departmental staff, and key stakeholders.
- Deliver high-quality training, assessment, and professional development activities to youth detention staff as required.
- Foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the youth detention centres.
