Job Overview:
We are seeking a seasoned Sales Strategist to drive revenue growth in our advanced analytics software for industrial organizations in the APAC region.
This role will play a pivotal part in expanding our presence in the APAC market and requires a proven background in enterprise sales, strong understanding of the industrial landscape in the APAC region, and a passion for delivering customer value.
Your primary focus will be to engage with key decision-makers in various industries, develop and maintain relationships with clients, and enable them to realize the significant value our solutions can bring to their operations.
You will work closely with our marketing and product teams to refine strategies, provide insights into customer needs, and identify new business opportunities. Strong knowledge and experience within the APAC market and cultural proficiency are essential for success in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify, qualify, and close new business opportunities within the APAC region
- Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies tailored to the needs of the APAC market
- Maintain a robust sales pipeline and accurately forecast revenue
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and customer success, to ensure client satisfaction
- Conduct market research and gather competitive intelligence to inform sales strategies
- Represent us at industry events and networking functions within the APAC region
- Provide feedback to product teams on customer requirements and suggested enhancements
Requirements:
- A Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field, with a minimum of 5 years of enterprise sales experience, preferably in the software or technology sectors
- Proven track record of success in selling complex software solutions to large enterprises within the APAC region
- Strong understanding of the industrial domain and analytics solutions, particularly in the context of time-series data
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels within an organization, including C-suite executives
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Deep knowledge of cultural nuances and business practices across different APAC countries
- Demonstrated ability to adapt sales strategies based on regional market dynamics
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, allowing for effective negotiation and strategic thinking
- Willingness to travel to meet with clients and attend industry events as needed
- Fluency in English; additional languages spoken in the APAC region are a plus
