Technical Training Leader

Lead a high-performing team of trainers and oversee the development of technical training programs for internal employees and customers.

  • Develop structured technical training programs across equipment, automation systems, and digital platforms.
  • Conduct national training needs analyses to identify skills gaps and priority areas for both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Oversee apprenticeship and capability development pathways for tradespeople and early-career technicians.
  • Build frameworks for product inductions, competency-based progression, certification, and compliance training.
Requirements

We are seeking an experienced and passionate training leader who thrives on building teams, programs, and systems that drive capability and performance. The ideal candidate will have:

  • Proven experience in a training management or senior training role in mining, construction, or heavy industry.
  • Demonstrated success leading training teams and driving national programs or initiatives.
  • Strong experience in technical or equipment-based training development and delivery.
  • Experience supporting or managing apprenticeship programs, including mentoring and competency progression.
