Job Title: Director of Workforce Innovation

A visionary leader is required to shape Australia's future workforce capability. The role will play a critical part in designing and building scalable workforce pathways for upskilling, reskilling, and mobility.

About the Job:
  • Create strategic partnerships with industry, unions, RTOs, and government to drive quality, responsiveness, and innovation.
  • Oversee Technical Advisory Groups to ensure products are informed by strong industry insight and lived experience.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide strategic leadership and vision to drive sector-wide reform and innovation.
  • Engage stakeholders to achieve collaborative outcomes.
  • Develop workforce programs and pathways that meet industry needs.
  • Lead high-performing teams in complex, regulated environments.
Requirements:
  • Extensive experience in vocational education and training, higher education, workforce development, or skills policy at a senior level.
  • Deep VET sector expertise and a track record in training product development or qualifications/systems reform.
  • Strategic insight into workforce development, policy, and sector-wide reform.
  • Strong capability in stakeholder engagement, facilitation, and co-design.
