Senior Energy Lawyer

Advising on legal, compliance and regulatory aspects of energy storage projects across the full project lifecycle from origination, development, financing, construction, delivery and operation is key to this role.
You will lead and support due diligence and negotiation of project agreements, including MOUs, landowner agreements, equipment supply and EPC contracts, O&M agreements, and power offtake arrangements.
Requirements- Admitted as a lawyer in Australia
- Practising as a projects, energy or infrastructure lawyer for 2-6 years in private practice or in-house
- Experience advising on development, construction and financing of large-scale renewables or infrastructure projects would be beneficial but not essential
- Familiarity with regulatory and risk frameworks in the energy sector
- Strong drafting, negotiation and contract management skills
- Collaborative, adaptable and self-motivated, with a commercial mindset
- Enjoys working in a fast-paced, early-stage environment
