The City is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Financial Operations Manager to manage its financial functions, including overseeing investment portfolios and reserves.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the City's financial function, including investments, loans, and reserves.
  • Ensure accurate reconciliation of restricted reserves.
  • Oversee daily receipting and balance municipal and trust finances.
  • Assist with internal and external audits, implementing recommendations.
  • Prepare financial reports for stakeholders.
  • Provide support to the Chief Financial Officer in various functions, including budgeting and financial reporting.
  • Maintain and update financial processes to ensure compliance.
Requirements:
  • Demonstrated experience in financial management and accounts receivable functions.
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and accounting software.
  • Ability to work autonomously while following established procedures.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, time management, and attention to detail.
