**Job Title:** Treasury OfficerOur organization is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented professional to manage our treasury functions.The successful candidate will oversee the City's investment portfolio and reserves, ensuring sound financial practices and providing essential support across the finance department.Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the City's Treasury function, including investments, loans, and reserves.
  • Ensure accurate reconciliation of restricted reserves.
  • Oversee daily receipting and balance municipal and trust finances.
  • Assist with internal and external audits, implementing recommendations.
  • Prepare financial reports for Councillors, City staff, and external stakeholders.
  • Provide support to the Chief Financial Officer and other finance team members in various functions, including budgeting and financial reporting.
  • Maintain and update financial processes to ensure compliance.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Demonstrated experience in treasury and accounts receivable functions.
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and accounting software.
  • Ability to work autonomously while following established procedures.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, time management, and attention to detail.
