Lead Mechanical Engineer - Dam Infrastructure Specialist

We are seeking an accomplished Lead Mechanical Engineer with expertise in dam infrastructure to expand our specialist team. As a technical leader, you will deliver innovative solutions and high-quality projects for clients.

  • Provide technical leadership in the design of gates, regulating structures, outlet works, valves, fish screens and other mechanical aspects of water storage dam infrastructure
  • Mentor and work closely with the rest of the team to develop sustainable capability in dams engineering
  • Lead and oversee delivery of quality technical solutions and successful project outcomes that satisfy clients' needs
Requirements
  • Qualifications in Mechanical Engineering, with experience in the mechanical engineering aspects of water storage dams
  • Minimum 15 years' experience in a consulting environment, specifically in the design and specification of gates, hoists, outlet works, trash racks and screens, fishways, pipe work, valves and other mechanical equipment associated with dams
  • Experience working in multi-disciplined teams, including geologists, structural engineers, hydraulic engineers, dams engineers, and electrical and civil engineers
