Senior CAD Civil Designer

We are seeking a skilled Senior CAD Civil Designer to lead major civil and mining infrastructure projects nationwide. As part of our innovative, collaborative, and quality-driven team, you will be responsible for coordinating engineering and drafting design documentation across multi-disciplinary teams.

  • Coordinate complex engineering and drafting design documentation with cross-functional teams to drive project success.
  • Lead 2D and 3D CAD design work for large-scale civil and mining infrastructure projects, developing detailed engineering drawings from concept through to as-constructed documentation.
  • Develop and maintain precise 2D and 3D CAD models, including scaling, dimensioning, and layout work in accordance with standard procedures.
  • Conduct thorough quantitative analysis using 3D modeling tools to ensure accuracy and efficiency in your work.
  • Collaborate with junior designers, guiding and mentoring them while contributing to a national, high-performing team.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary project meetings and client interactions, providing support on project feasibility, design, and construction.
Requirements
  • Diploma or Advanced Diploma in Civil Engineering (or equivalent).
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in civil or mining infrastructure design, with strong technical expertise in AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
  • Proven track record of preparing earthworks and infrastructure designs, including dams, levees, pipelines, and hardstands.
  • Experience processing survey data and technical documentation, with excellent communication skills to interact effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Passion for innovation, continuous improvement, and pushing boundaries in CAD excellence.
