We seek an accomplished and motivated Senior Structural Engineer to contribute to the development of sustainable water solutions in Australia.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in structural analysis and design, with experience in complex projects. This role involves collaborating with specialists nationally and internationally to develop innovative water management strategies and mentor junior engineers.
Key Responsibilities:- Structural analysis and review of concrete dams, spillways and appurtenant structures.
- Conceptual to detailed design of dams and structural components of dams.
- Inspection, investigation and condition assessment of existing dams.
- Construction support services including inspection of works, evaluation of quality control and quality assurance data and construction reporting.
- Preparation of tenders and proposals & providing mentoring.
- Demonstrated capability in structural design, including the preparation of design reports, design drawings and specifications, ideally within the dam industry.
- You are positive, proactive and enjoy seeing challenges as opportunities to innovate, collaborate and grow.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to develop and nurture relationships with internal stakeholders, clients and the local industry through project work, client initiatives or industry associations.
- A degree in Civil or Structural Engineering or a related discipline (essential).
