Diagnostic Pathology Specialist Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Diagnostic Pathology Specialist to join our team at IDEXX Reference Laboratories. As a key member of our laboratory team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the delivery of timely, effective, and efficient diagnostic pathology services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform, monitor, and act upon quality control procedures to ensure the highest level of accuracy in diagnostic testing.
  • Monitor, calibrate, and troubleshoot the performance of laboratory equipment in compliance with NATA and ISO accreditation/certification requirements.
  • Contribute to the delivery of high-quality diagnostic pathology services, including biochemistry, haematology, microbiology, histology, and parasitology testing.
  • Work collaboratively with a vibrant and highly engaged team to achieve our goals and objectives.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor of Applied Science in Medical Laboratory Science (or equivalent) with a minimum of 2-3 years' experience in a diagnostic laboratory setting.
  • Excellent PC and data entry skills, with a demonstrated ability to follow and adhere to policies and practices.
  • Experience in operating efficiently and effectively to meet tight turnaround times in a commercial lab environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills, with a passion for providing exceptional customer service.
