Job Summary

IDEXX is seeking a highly skilled Veterinary Laboratory Scientist to join our team in a diagnostic pathology role. As a key member of our laboratory team, you will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality diagnostic services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform and monitor quality control procedures to ensure accuracy and compliance with NATA and ISO accreditation/certification requirements.
  • Operate and maintain laboratory equipment, including calibration and troubleshooting.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of laboratory policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless laboratory operations.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support to clients and internal stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Applied Science in Medical Laboratory Science or equivalent.
  • Minimum 2-3 years' experience in a diagnostic laboratory setting.
  • Strong PC and data entry skills.
  • Ability to follow and adhere to policies and practices.
  • Experience in operating efficiently and effectively to meet tight turnaround times in a commercial lab environment.
  • Passion for providing exceptional customer service.
  • Attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
