We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Veterinary Laboratory Scientist to join our team at IDEXX Reference Laboratories. As a key member of our laboratory team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality diagnostic pathology services to our clients.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform and monitor quality control procedures to ensure the highest level of accuracy in our laboratory results.
- Operate and maintain laboratory equipment, including microscopes, spectrophotometers, and other diagnostic instruments.
- Conduct and interpret laboratory tests, including biochemistry, haematology, microbiology, histology, and parasitology.
- Collaborate with other laboratory staff to ensure efficient and effective laboratory operations.
- Develop and implement quality control procedures to ensure compliance with NATA and ISO accreditation/certification requirements.
- Bachelor of Applied Science in Medical Laboratory Science (or equivalent)
- Minimum 2-3 years' experience within a diagnostic laboratory setting preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced laboratory environment
