Rehabilitation Specialist
">Job Role">We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced rehabilitation consultant to support individuals who have sustained a physical and/or psychological injury at work. As a Rehabilitation Specialist, you will take a holistic approach, working within a multidisciplinary team to support the journey from rehabilitation to recovery.
">Key Responsibilities:">- Perform various assessments, including functional capacity evaluations, worksite, ergonomic, or activities of daily living assessments, and collaborate with stakeholders such as injured employees, employers, medical specialists, and other allied health professionals.
- Develop, implement, and monitor rehabilitation plans, and broaden your skills as you work across a range of schemes, such as Work Cover or Department of Veterans Affairs.
Our ideal candidate will possess:
">- Current unrestricted (or eligibility for) registration or membership with the relevant industry body.
- Tertiary qualifications in Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Exercise Physiology, or Rehabilitation Counselling.
- Strong clinical reasoning.
- Ability to engage across multidisciplinary teams to support the achievement of a common goal.
- Passion to help people rehabilitate.
