Health Data Analyst

Movember seeks a skilled Health Data Analyst to drive insights on men's health globally.

This role provides critical intelligence to inform decision-making across the business, leveraging population trends and statistical expertise to answer key questions related to men's health.

The position plays a key role in expanding and aligning the men's population health evidence base at Movember, sourcing and analyzing data to support the One Movember Impact Strategy.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Sourcing, analyzing, and interpreting population health data in response to business needs.
  • Expanding and aligning the men's population health evidence base at Movember to the One Movember Impact Strategy & Movember Institute focus areas.
  • Advising, conducting, interpreting, and reporting on a wide range of statistical analyses.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • A Masters or PhD qualification in a relevant field (Epidemiology, Public Health, Psychology, Statistics).
  • Proficiency using relevant software (i.e., Stata, R or similar) to undertake complex analyses to a high level.
  • Skilled and experienced in public health surveillance across one or more of Movember's core markets (Australia, UK, US, Canada, New Zealand and Ireland).
  • Demonstrated skills in anticipating and solving problems.
  • Skilled and experience in working with a variety of stakeholders.
  • Skilled and experience in communicating research and/or data findings to a range of audiences using a variety of mediums and channels.
  • Time management, project planning skills and ability to meet deadlines.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Experience in oncology/cancer, mental health and/or men's health research would be highly regarded.
  • Experience in qualitative and quantitative mixed methods research and analysis.
  • Affiliation with a university.
  • Journal publications and/or experience in presenting at conferences.
  • Experience working in a global context.
