Ambulatory Care Nursing Specialist

Job Summary

We are seeking highly skilled and experienced nurses to join our professional team in the Emergency Department, where they will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care.

The successful candidate will have a strong clinical background in adult acute assessment, resuscitation, and mental health assessment. They will also possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work well independently and as part of a team.

About the Role
  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver high-quality patient care in the Emergency Department
  • Participate in the development and implementation of nursing policies and procedures
  • Contribute to the training and education of junior staff members
Requirements
  • Clinical experience in an Emergency Nursing environment
  • Post Graduate Certificate in Emergency Nursing (or working towards)
  • Compliance with ACQSHC National standards
  • Sound clinical decision making and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
