Job Role

The EHS Coordinator is a pivotal role in supporting the Environmental, Health and Safety team and helping to reinforce safety culture.

This individual will be an inspiring team player with a continuous improvement mindset and keen eye for detail. They will have the ability to understand new systems and processes easily and be prepared to help drive projects around safety leadership and process enhancements.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Maintaining EHS safety management plans for Siemens
  • Undertaking independent system audits and developing and monitoring safety performance indicators
  • Assisting with the maintenance of EHS dashboards, analyzing associated data and assisting with report preparation
  • Ensuring consultation and communication activities are undertaken across business units
  • Supporting key safety governance committees as required, including the Leadership Team
  • Participating in EHS Risk Management, including the development and maintenance of Project Risk Registers
  • Supporting the management of Workers Compensation Return to Work for Injured employees
  • Delivering training packages for key safety management procedures or specific training required due to the introduction of new procedures, policies, and standards
  • Incident Reporting and Investigation

Requirements

This role requires experience in a similar EHS role desirable, with a minimum tertiary qualification of a Cert IV in Work Health & Safety. Experience in Tableau or Excel, and an interest in Environmental topics highly regarded.

The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex information effectively to various stakeholders.
